About me
I am a legal and financial translator from French and English into Spanish, a sworn translator as well as an associate professor of French Language for International Relations at the University of Alicante.
Master’s degree in translation and interpreting (300 ECTS) (1998-2002) from the University of Alicante, sworn French translator-interpreter appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2002) and accredited by the French diplomatic and consular authorities in Spain (2003). Since 2001, I have been working as a legal and financial translator from French and English into Spanish, mainly for law firms, notary’s offices, collective investment organisations, banks, insurance companies, communication and translation agencies.
In 2013, I set up the limited liability company e-Traducción Jurídica y Financiera, S.L. From 2013 to 2021, on behalf of the French Council of State, I translated the most important decisions of this French administrative highest court into Spanish.
In 2017 I obtained a postgraduate degree as an expert in stock exchange and online markets from the University of Alicante.
From the academic year 2022-2023, I have been working as an associate professor at the University of Alicante (attached to the French area of the Department of Integrated Philologies), where I mainly teach the subjects French language for international relations I and II in the Faculty of Law. For the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024, a book of my authorship in the form of teaching material entitled Langue française pour les relations internationales I has been published by the Publications Service of the University of Alicante.
